Michelle Deng is a graphic designer and art director based in Brooklyn with a specialty in type, illustration, and art direction. She brings an empathetic yet strategic mindset to every project, as well as a sharp eye for detail.

She has studied at the Cooper Union in New York where she received her Bachelor of Fine Art on a full-tuition scholarship. In addition, she also had the honor of studying calligraphy at the Society of Scribes on a full scholarship, and holds a postgraduate typeface design certificate from Type@Cooper. 

Her previous projects include Chipotle packaging, Shake Shack packaging, lettering pieces for Crane stationery, art directing at Moda Operandi for brands such as Judith Leiber, Moet Hennessy, and building an efficient design workflow for Hellofresh.
